Highlights
EPA225 and EPA226 cover the northern parts of the Cretaceous to Jurassic Eromanga Basin. There has been little exploration across this part of the Basin, but wells drilled further south and west have contained indications of gas and oil.
The extreme edge of EPA226 intersects the eastern edge of the Amadeus Basin, known to be the repository for the Northern Territory’s domestic gas supply.
